A Safer Chicago

We Interrupt Violence Before it Happens

As one of Chicago’s premier violence prevention ecosystems, W.I.N. unites evidence-based Bystander Intervention Training, Real-Time Technology, Youth Empowerment, and deep Community Engagement, to build scalable, safer neighborhoods.  W.I.N. equips everyday people to proactively disrupt cycles of violence.

Built for Impact

Real-Time Community Intervention. Safer Streets. Stronger Futures.

W.I.N. is more than an organization-it’s a movement.

Westside Intervention Network (W.I.N.) takes a stand against violence and reclaims the safety, power, and future of our communities. Born on the Westside of Chicago in 2020, W.I.N. exists to shift the narrative from reacting to violence to actively preventing it, from feeling powerless to taking action.

We have built a comprehensive intervention model designed to meet people in real time crisis situations and connect them to sustainable solutions. From bystander intervention training to real-time community reporting and coordinated support, W.I.N. equips residents with the tools to act, intervene, and protect one another.

We build long-term pathways through education, workforce development, and deep strategic partnerships to scale our footprint and ensure lasting regional change.

“WIN is more than an organization , it’s my family. When I needed help the most, W.I.N. was there. Rachel helped me find housing for me and my daughter, was the nudged I needed to enroll in school, and even gave me opportunities to work on their annual Juneteenth Festival! I show up every year for the festival to celebrate, to help the community and to say thank you"
